Seward Concert Band at the Twin Cities Marathon

Continuing a tradition dating back to our early days, members of the Seward Concert Band played for runners in the Twin Cities Marathon last Sunday morning. You couldn’t have picked better weather for either running or playing, and we had a great time encouraging runners as they passed the 17 mile mark.

We played a collection of marches, fight songs, and pop melodies for the runners. We hope the runners enjoyed the encouragement as much as we always enjoy providing it. See you next year!
