Weather and Cancellation Policy
The Seward Concert Band desires to preserve its scheduled rehearsals and performances whenever possible. However, any scheduled event is subject to cancellation.
- The Seward Concert Band will cancel its events if public schools or their activities in the event city were cancelled due to weather.
- On days without school, the Seward Concert Band board will make the decision to cancel taking into consideration current or predicted conditions. For events held at or organized in conjunction with partner organizations, the board will coordinate with these partners to make cancellation decisions.
- In the event of cancellation, the board will relay cancellation notice to its performers at the soonest possibility, and and no later than one hour prior to the start time. Notice will be sent via email, and section leaders are responsible for passing information100100 to those in their section who do not use email.
