We’re far from the first to say that 2020 was an unprecedented year, and we’re definitely not the only ones hoping the year changing to 2021 represents much more than a simple flip of a calendar page.

In recent months, we have had to learn a great number of new things and learn new ways to work together and support each other while having to stay physically distant. Concerts Canceled – Season Suspended

It’s with heavy heart that the Seward Concert Band made the decision this evening to suspend the remainder of our season indefinitely.

We will be canceling the performances we had scheduled for this weekend – March 13 and 14 – and we will suspend rehearsals immediately. We hope for our community and our world that the coronavirus is contained soon.

Should the situation improve enough for the band to feel it is safe to resume rehearsals, we will inform our musicians via email, website, and social media. Otherwise, we hope to see everyone again in the fall.

Thank you for your support this season.
