The Seward Concert Band invites you to celebrate the end of our 37th season with three upcoming concerts.

Memorial Day at Pioneers & Soldiers

Monday, May 25 at 9:40 am

The Seward Concert Band is continuing it’s Memorial Day tradition by performing for the veterans at the Pioneers and Soldiers Cemetery. Our program of patriotic music begins at 9:40 am and accompanies a service on the history and meaning of Memorial day.

Formal Concert at Washburn High

Friday, May 29 at 7:30pm

Bring the whole family for a celebration of music as we formally close our season. We’ll play a full program including summer favorites by John Philip Sousa, and pieces by Vincent Persichetti, Frank Tichelli, and Nicholas Rimsky-Korsakov.

This concert features a special performance of Carmen Fantaisie Brillante by Francois Borne and based on the opera by Georges Bizet. This piece features our flutist Denise Flint, and fun for the rest of our band.

Suggested donations are $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and $4 students and children.

Outdoor Performance at Minnehaha Falls
