Bringing Seward Concert Band into the Community

As a lifelong band geek, I find a lot of joy playing in the Seward Concert Band. We’re a low-key group that has a lot of talent, which means we get to play some really awesome music. From super traditional Gustav Holst suites to crazy modern Maslanka symphonies, we hit on a bit of everything the concert band repertoire has to offer. In learning all of this music, we exercise our minds and our fingers to become better musicians. On top of all of those wonderful qualities, we also get to hang out with some really cool people and eat tasty treats at break time. It’s really the best of all worlds. Fall Concert Series

Join the Seward Concert Band as we celebrate fall with our first performances of the 2017-2018 season.

Edinborough Park – Sunday, October 22

The Seward Concert Band will provide a community performance at Edinborough Park in Edina on Sunday, October 22. Our performance begins at 7pm, and this is a great venue for the whole family.

Sanford Middle – Friday, November 3

The Seward Concert Band invites our community to our formal, season opening concert on Friday, November 3 at Sanford Middle School in Minneapolis. Our performance begins at 7:30 PM in the auditorium. Suggested donations are $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and $4 students and children.
